Exercise: Single Arm Bent over Rows
How: Single arm bent over rows:
Select your weight: Pick a light to moderate resistance band or dumbbell. With bands, you can perform this standing up straight or hinged, and bent at the waist. The weights or resistance band can be low weight. With weights, have one hand on a bench or chair for support. If this feels unstable, use the back of a couch or even the kitchen counter.
Position your spine: Keep you back flat, core engaged, and a slight bend in your knees.
Start Position: Pull with one arm at a time, with your elbow tucked against your side. Pull the band or weight to your chest. Hold, then return the weight or band to the starting position.
Aim for 8-10 per side, then switch sides. Perform 2 or 3 sets.
Equipment: A exercise or resistance band. Weights (low to moderate)
